The Greene County Historical Society welcomes over 3,000 members of the public each year to its House Museum and Research Library. These visitors are greeted and assisted by a team of dedicated volunteers. As a grassroots not-for-profit organization dependent on the leadership of a volunteer Board of Trustees and four paid staff members, we are always looking for new volunteers. Bronck House Volunteer Positions

  • Volunteer Greeter to meet visitors and sell tickets at the Bronck House Museum.

  • Volunteer Bronck Museum Tour Guide.

  • Volunteer Gift Shop Manager.

  • Special Event Volunteer to help serve food and guide visitors at annual festivals and special museum events. 

  • Special Cleanup Days Volunteer

General GCHS Volunteer Positions

  • Journal Scholar researching and submitting articles for the Society's quarterly publication.
     

  • Member on the Greene County Historic Register Committee.
     

  • Historical Society Board Member.
